I am wondering if I should try to get Sims 4 on my new 2015 Macbook. IT is not the macbook air, or the pro, just the macbook and I haven't been able to find any info about gameplay on this specific device. Here is the hardware info: MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) Processor; 1.1 GHz Intel Core M Memory; 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. HI this is for all my Macbook users! If you just picked up the Macbook Air and you really want to play the sims, this video tells you how to install it and h. This computer will run Sims 4, but not very well, and not nearly as well as the much cheaper ($999) M1 MacBook Air. Everything @Bluebellflora said is correct. It's your money, and your choice what to do with it. But if you want decent performance rather than lag and frequent crashes, an M1 Mac is the much better choice.

Hello!

I was also wondering if my MacBook air will run the sims 3 properly. I have an external disc drive and have installed the base game, seasons and pets. For some reason, when I open the launcher and hit 'play', it just opens a plumbob loading screen but never launches. I am up to date on software updates. This is what my mac has.
In the same way Is a MacBook good to play Sims on? There are many other suitable options for a Sims 4 laptop out there, like the newer MacBook Pros (2014 onwards) and the MacBook Air (2015 onwards), which can run the game with pretty much all the expansions at low to medium graphics settings.

I was wondering if my Macbook Air would be able to run TS3 properly? I'm probably going to purchase through Origin and get the bundle that comes with the base game, late night and high end loft stuff and I'm getting another bundle that comes with generations and world adventures. I just wanted to check first if my laptop can handle it.
